AT WHICH AGE CAN I RENT A VEHICLE?
You must be at least 18 to rent a vehicle. For some models though you have to be older. You will find the minimum age required on the vehicle page.
WHO CAN DRIVE THE RENTED VEHICLE?
In principle, the vehicle can only be driven by yourself! However, we can include an additional driver if you mention it at the time of agreeing the rental contract. In this case, you must also produce the driving licence and ID of the additional driver.
WHAT EQUIPMENT IS INCLUDED IN MY RENTAL?
- For the pilot a helmet, a jacket, trousers and glasses.
- In addition, a GoPro camera and a drone are available.
- Additional equipment on request.
RENTAL PRICES, COUPONS, INSURANCE, DEPOSIT AND DEDUCTIBLE
WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS?
It depends on where you are!
On the website: You can pay through Mastercard and Visa credit cards.
On the ground or for a rental: You can pay in cash (Swiss Francs only), and by Maestro and Postcard.
WHAT DOES THE RENTAL PRICE INCLUDE?
The price of the rental is determined by the type of rental, the vehicle, the number of days reserved and the number of kilometres included. To this must be added the security deposit, the payment of the excess in the event of damage, the possible rental of additional equipment and accessories and other costs which are borne by the renter (see terms and conditions).
HOW DO I PAY A DEPOSIT?
When you arrive on site, before taking over your vehicle, a deposit will be required either in cash or by debit card. It will be collected with the rental amount.
HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT?
The deposit will depend on the number of people and the type of activity. This amount does not represent the maximum total for which you are liable. Your liability is for the total amount of damage caused. More information in our terms and conditions.
WHY DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
This deposit will allow us to repair any damage you may have caused to the vehicles of the company. All other rental services will require a deposit for possible damages in a less direct manner. HOW DO WE REFUND YOUR DEPOSIT?
The deposit will be kept on your debit card within a maximum of 10 business days while bank transactions take place. The blocking period will depend on your bank, some of them keep the funds for 3 days. If you pay in cash, the amount will be repaid as soon as the buggy returns and after it has been checked..
I HAVE A COUPON, WHAT CAN I DO WITH IT?
Well, you should just use it! It’s easy, when you book your vehicle, you’re asked the question if you would like to make a comment. Let us know that you want to use your voucher for a certain date, and if possible we will confirm your request.
ARE THE VEHICLES INSURED?
Yes, however only for rental with unrestricted route not on the track! All the vehicles are covered by a comprehensive and third party insurance policy which you can check at the agency.
AND WHAT’S ABOUT THE DEDUCTIBLE?
For each rented vehicle, a deductible (comprehensive cover and third party liability) of CHF 2,500 minimum each is applied. Some vehicles have a higher deductible. The excess is only claimed in the event of damage when the vehicle is returned. If the damage is estimated at an exceeding amount, all repair costs will be at your expense.
RESERVATION, EXTENSION, AMENDMENT OR CANCELLATION
HOW TO RESERVE A VEHICLE?
In principle, reservations can only be made online on the website or by phone. But you can also visit the agency during business hours, and we will look together if a vehicle is available. If you decide to come to the agency, you will also have to pay the rental price to be able to book.
CAN I RESERVE SEVERAL SEPARATE DAYS?
Yes! You have the opportunity to book several days which don’t follow each other (e.g. Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday). In this case, you must return the vehicle to us for the days that are not reserved.
CAN I EXTEND THE DURATION OF THE RENT?
Yes! To extend the rental period, you must contact us so that we can check the vehicle’s booking schedule. If the extension follows the initial reservation, you obviously don’t need to return the vehicle.
CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY RESERVATION?
You can modify or cancel your reservation by sending us an enquiry by email to email@example.com
NB: This request must be submitted no later than 24 hours before the start of the rental. Within 24 hours, the reservation is final.
COLLECTION, RETURN AND CONDITION OF THE VEHICLE
HOW IS THE VEHICLE COLLECTED?
You can pick up the vehicle the morning of your first rental day.
AND WHAT ABOUT THE RETURN OF THE VEHICLE?
For the return, it’s easy, it is the last day of your rental at 18:00 o’clock.
Remember to bring the vehicle back clean and with a full tank of petrol!
USE OF THE VEHICLE
THE MAINTENANCE OF OUR MACHINES
Each of our machines is maintained by qualified technicians at our supplier. They are also checked after each use to ensure optimal operation!
Don’t waste your time renting old machines somewhere.
CAN I USE THE VEHICLE ON THE TRACK?
No! Vehicles may only be driven on roads authorised for traffic. Also it is not allowed to perform any acrobatic tricks (wheeling, burnout, etc.).
CAN I LEAVE SWITZERLAND?
No! You find in the terms and conditions the list of countries that you can cross with the vehicle.
DO I HAVE TO MAINTAIN THE VEHICLE DURING THE RENTAL PERIOD?
No! We are committed to providing you with a vehicle in perfect working order. If you realise any problem with the proper functioning of the vehicle, you must inform us immediately.
The only procedure you are allowed to perform on the vehicle is refuelling and adjusting the tyre pressure.
VARIOUS IMPEDIMENTS AND SPECIAL SITUATIONS
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
The rental takes place whatever the weather. In certain circumstances it may be decided on the day of collection of the vehicle to cancel the rental and postpone it if the weather conditions are dangerous (e.g. snow, storm, hail).
WHAT TO DO IN THE EVENT OF A BREAKDOWN, PUNCTURE OR VEHICLE MALFUNCTION?
You must notify us immediately and follow our instructions. We take care of organising a repair if necessary. Namely do not intervene on the vehicle without our approval.
WHAT TO DO IN CASE OF DAMAGE, ACCIDENT OR SPECIAL OCCURRENCES?
Whether or not you are responsible for the damage or accident, you must notify us immediately and do all that is necessary and useful to clarify the situation as well as to minimise the damage.
If a third party recognises responsibility for the damage or accident, do not forget to take a police report.
For any other event, such as theft or other kind of loss, you must notify us and your insurance.
